Kodomo no Omocha (Child's Toy)

The series follows the life of Kurata Sana, an elementary school girl who is also a famous child star on the television show, "Kodomo no Omocha." Sana is extremely hyper, wacky, energetic, and airheaded, but has a good heart and good, even if often misguided, intentions. She lives with her mother, who is a live-at-home writer with a squirrel (Maro-chan) living on her head, and her manager/pimp/driver, Rei-kun. Early on, Sana is at odds with Hayama Akito, a boy in her class who constantly causes serious trouble at school.
